We sincerely pray that your Christmas time is spent with those you love if at all possible. We know that things change in our lives that we sometimes have no control over; an untimely death; a divorce, maybe a loved one incarcerated; or a new job location, someone off to college in a different state or country, unfortunately family bickering, and so much more. We recently had a woman of faith share with us after her unwanted divorce that the Norman Rockwell painting of families gathered at Christmas time is just that – a painting. It is not always real life. We encourage you to hang on to the memories of the past with a warm thought as you eagerly grasp each moment of today that you can with your family and friends. They are truly priceless and precious. Let go of money, greed, and power. They honestly will not buy you any lasting happiness or health. Search for the Savior Jesus Christ. He is waiting on you and will never be absent, especially at this time of the year!
