It’s always open-season on Bear.
That man is incredibly goosey. Maybe living with me has caused him to be that way. But anyway, any sudden movement or noise sends him into flight mode.
Like the time he walked out of the music room in our home, through the office where I was standing and into the living room. I waited a second or two to give him a head start, then ran out of the office stomping my feet behind him.
All Bear heard were heavy footsteps chasing him. He screamed like a girl while his feet started moving ninety miles per hour, but his upper body stood still, locked in fear. He bent over to catch his breath with his hand over his rapidly beating heart.
—- That story is in my book, Prune Pie.
It’s really an absolute miracle Bear hasn’t had a heart attack with all the mischief I’ve created around him. If you want to read more of these, click on the title of the book and order a copy.
I’ll soon be posting articles again here, but … you’ll want to read all the stuff already published in my book!
