    11:00am - 6:30pmBuckhorn Presbyterian Church, 8762 N. County Road 27, Masonville.

Catch a day of live gospel music at the Buckhorn Presbyterian Church in Masonville on Saturday, Aug. 19. Picnic space, free admission, local art and fresh barbecue earmark this event as one of summer's last musical celebrations. Buckhorn Presbyterian outreach committee member Craig Keeton promised the 10th annual Gospel Music Festival will go on no matter what the weather forecast holds."It is a nondenominational event," Keeton said. "It is gospel music that will touch everyone. We have had people from all different religions participate. Admission is free. The only thing we do is ask for a love offering to help pay for the travel expenses for the musicians but that is optional." The festival will feature a wide variety of musical styles. "There's bluegrass, a little bit of western, some contemporary," Keeton said. "I have been working at it all 10 years and it is always an exciting and uplifting time."Free, but a love offering will be accepted. Barry is scheduled for the 3:00pm set at this time.

Freedom Gates Boys Ranch (FGBR) is a comprehensive youth development organization with emphasis in sharing the love of Christ with boys; and, to show them that through Christ they can change the course of their lives.  They will be able to attain self-esteem, positive self-direction and self-control. This charity is close to our hearts as we want to get the word out about this great need of boys who have been thrown away by the very ones who they once trusted and loved. Won't you come beside us and let's make a difference together? A meal will be served at 5:30pm with a Barry Ward concert at 6:30pm. A suggested donation of $15 a couple / $10 for a single / children 12 and under are free. All money collected goes directly to FGBR! For more info contact Mary Freitag 620-239-4031

There is no way to describe just how beautiful this venue is! Come and see for yourself. Barry will be here for three different concerts, so invite your friends! Cost: Invitees are asked to donate what they can afford, but we do not want you to miss the event due to your budget.  There are significant costs involved in making these types of events available to the community, and the average cost for an event like this is $10 per person.  For anything you give above that amount, the Villa Jubilee Foundation can provide you with a tax-deductible receipt at your request. Proceeds benefit both Barry Ward (this is how he earns his living!) and VJF.

Food:  Please bring about a dozen helpings of your favorite hors d’oeuvres and your favorite beverages. Thanks!

R.S.V.P.: Space is limited, so you and your friends are included in this invitation, but please R.S.V.P. as soon as possible at http://www.villajubilee.com/events.html

A few years ago, Barry and I were cutting through the country and stumbled on to this historic battleground in eastern Colorado. Here we discovered the incredible true story of the Calvary and the Indians who attacked them on this site in the river. For the whole story, check out https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Beecher_Island

Barry will be leading the church service on Sunday morning at the church. For more info contact Harvey Allen at 970-332-5119
